Today Friday 29th July, I’m running a pre-launch sale for a WordPress plugin that everyone will want. It really is an amazing plugin.You can read on, or watch this video that gives you an overview of the main functions.
This new plugin adds additional features to the built in TinyMCE editor that comes with WordPress, and we’ve nicknamed it “Big Ed”.

When my wife saw it she said “Ooh! I WANT that on my blogs!” and I think you will too.
There’s not been a lot of notice for this sale I know, and I’ve been keeping this “under my hat”, but it’s now all done and I’d like to get it out there right away. (And I like to reward those people who pay attention to what I’m doing by giving them the best possible price.)
Apart from expanding the capabilities of the default WordPress editor, we’ve also added a few extra features that we’re very confident you’ll find incredibly useful.
And while it sounds innocent enough, wait until you see what it can do.
By default, the buttons you get with the WordPress editor look like this:-

Now what happens when you install and activate Big Ed?
Well… You get to see this:-
You might have seen something like this before, and there are other plugins that do a similar thing, but we went a step further and added some very special formatting tools just for Internet Marketers.
For instance, now you can add three new styles to your posts in the form of Johnson boxes, graphical bullets, and graphical separators.
This isn’t a screenshot you’re looking at above, this is the plugin in action and the text in the box is selectable – try it.
Next, how about some separators? There are 10 in 3 different widths making 30 altogether. Here are some examples…

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for and I’m in!!! I’ve tried some free plugins that add a few extra buttons, but they were junk and had zero support because they were free. It’s good to know I’ll be able to get this and do some sale’s on my blog like I can see your doing.

Hey thanks Terry, yeah I’m really pleased with this plugin, it makes it SO much easier to write your sales copy and make it look good without having to rely on a theme to do it.
You can use this plugin with ANY theme and instantly give your copy a real boost.
I mean look. As I write this I’m just using the TwentyTen theme that comes with WordPress, and it looks great!

Yep, I got fed up not being able to easily add the text etc I wanted to put on a page, and that’s why I created this plugin. Like all my plugins, I get them developed for my own use, and then sell them on so everyone else benefits and I get my development costs back.
As you can see from the video, it’s really simple to use. Sometimes it will throw a wobbly, but that’s just TinyMCE mucking things up for us. It’s easily enough fixed, just flip into HTML mode, delete the offending item and flip back to visual mode.
Life is much easier with Big Ed.

Yep, I’ve been using Big Ed for a while, and I’d like to see a few changes now. So right after my theme designer and plugin developer have both finished their current tasks (about a week or two), then I’ll talk to them about adding in some new bullet styles, certificates and separators.
I’ll see if we can’t do something similar to the custom Johnson boxes for the separators as that will then give us virtually unlimited separator styles. And it would be REALLY cool if we could upload our own bullet point graphics wouldn’t it?
To me that would be a complete plugin, and that’s an important point to make because I don’t believe in adding in feature after unwanted feature into software. If it’s all there, why force stuff in that doesn’t naturally sit right? I don’t like bloatware.

I have LOADS more plugins to release through this site. Big Ed is awesome no arguments there, but wait until you see a few of the others I’ve had built this last 18 months. And the themes. And the standalone scripts.
When I open the unified affiliate scheme (when I get a clear 3 days to “line it all up” properly) you will make a TON of cash just by promoting some of the smaller and even free items.

Hi,I installed the plugin , but after I change the background color for the Johnson box and click “Apply”, it still does not change after I published the page….or where should I request for support?
The Arrow Style function overlap to the first few text of my article.

Not for me, but you might have a clash with another plugin causing you a problem. Raise a ticket at http://support.plugingreat.com/ and leave your FTP and WP admin panel details and someone will take a look at your site for you.

I purchased your plug in a few days ago because it covers one essential necessity: Customization of pages. Haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure that it works fine since have read many positive opinions and hope that you keep improving it.
in addition to Big ED features I would like to mention what I’m desperately looking for:
1- A WP solution based on a plug-in (not a Theme) with an INTERFACE to create databases (input items) of all kind of products for different niche websites using custom fields. For example, amenities, features, software reviews, movies, rentals, a direcotory. Any kind of site!. Similar to a shop but customizable. Later on it should have to provide a way to insert the items into pages in order to create comparison charts, pages of products with features, listings, ratings.
2- A plugin to create and manage infinite custom CONTENT layouts (page templates). For example:
2.a- Unlimited designs / page templates. Like widgets but in content area.
2.b- Different headers for each page or group (images, sliders, text, banners, or nothing)
2.c- 1, 2, 3, 4 columns, different kind of boxes (containers), extended listings, customization, customization and customization.
I have purchased lots of Themes and Plug-ins but still haven’t found a solution to create really flexible custom pages. In my opinion, plugins are the way to go, independently of the theme used.
Maybe someone is aware of a solution or you could be interested in developing a plugin (or 2
)covering my suggestions. Hope so

Where does one go to find the latest version of this plug-in. I’ve had a lot of problems with the original version. I’m told that there already is a version 1.1.2 but I can’t find it on your site. Please email me the download link for the most current version.

Thanks – this is a great plugin! A really great upgrade to this plugin would be a place where we can set up OUR own custom graphics for the Johnson Boxes (at least). Also an EXTRA-wide option would be nice – the wide isn’t wide enough for some things. =)
